The Consumer Electronics Association announced the launch of the Vehicle Intelligence Marketplace at the 2015 International CES®. Owned and produced by CEA, the 2015 CES, the global gathering place for all who thrive on the business of consumer technologies, will run January 6-9, 2015, in Las Vegas, Nevada.
The Vehicle Intelligence Marketplace will be located at CES Tech East, in the North Plaza of the Las Vegas Convention with a track to show off autonomous driving, collision avoidance, and vehicle communication technologies.
11 automotive manufacturers will exhibit Audi, BMW, Chrysler, Ford, GM, Hyundai, Mazda, Mercedes, MINI, Toyota and Volkswagen.. Automotive exhibits at the 2015 CES will cover more than 165,000 net square feet of exhibit space, up 17 percent over the 2014 show.
CEA industry forecasts predict sales of factory-installed vehicle technologies will increase by three percent in 2015 to $11.3 billion. . CEA consumer research shows approximately 30 percent of U.S. households now own a vehicle with a communications, safety or entertainment system.
- Chairman of the Board of Management of Daimler AG and Head of Mercedes-Benz Cars Dieter Zetsche and Ford President and CEO Mark Fields will give keynote addresses.
