The finalists were announced for the Ford App contest in Las Vegas, during Super Mobility week. Here is list of the winners who will come to Los Angeles for Connected Car Expo at the LA Auto Show. We were hoping that there would be more solutions for Los Angeles’ parking quagmire.

There will be three styles of audio for the 2015 Ford Mustang and is the first Ford vehicle to feature a high-power, 2.1-amp USB port that charges phones and other devices twice as fast as other ports. Mustangs will also offer CD playing, steering wheel button audio control, voice control. AUX connectivity and Bluetooth connectivity.
Ford claims that the solid foundation enables the audio system to provide cleaner, clearer sound. Improved aerodynamics significantly reduces wind noise, especially at highway speeds.
There are the standard six-speaker a premium package, nine-speaker system with an eight-inch touch-screen or a 12-speaker ShakerPro with trunk-mounted subwoofer.
Los Angeles has a parking problem even though it has the highest density of parking spaces in the world. It’s downtown contains more spaces per acre than any other city. However finding a parking spot can still be difficult and stressful. L.A. also has a mountain-size surplus because lots are built for prime times and often vacant.
Mobile Interior Imaging, or Project Mobii is a joint project from Ford and Intel that could stop car thieves and prevent accidents. The cameras can see gestures to control car functions and smartphone connections. They can be programmed to keep private information such as contacts private.
QNX software is being used for or mapping, communication and entertainment systems in Ford, Chrysler, Hyundai, Jaguar, Porsche, Audi (see video below) and BMW vehicles.
