Vehicle Satisfaction High for Nissan, Ram & Lincoln

AutoPacific Announces 2019 Vehicle Satisfaction Awards: Nissan Has Most Winning Vehicles; Lincoln and Ram Top Brands

Now in its 23rd year, the VSA awards measure owner satisfaction with 32 separate attributes ranging from driving performance to seating comfort and interior design. The winners are determined from responses by more than 50,000 new car and light truck owners. The VSA awards are designed to represent a complete view of the ownership experience.

For the third straight year, Nissan has scored more best-in-class wins than any other brand in the annual AutoPacific Vehicle Satisfaction Awards (VSA). Five-time winner Murano and four-time winner Maxima were joined by Rogue, Altima and Armada on the list of “most satisfying” vehicles.

The Ram Truck brand, propelled by the power, luxury and capabilities of the all-new 2019 Ram 1500 pickup, reigns as the Highest Satisfaction Popular Brand in the 2019 Vehicle Satisfaction Awards from AutoPacific. The 2019 Ram 1500 earned top honors in the Light Duty Pickup category.

Ram’s performance in this year’s Vehicle Satisfaction Awards is just the beginning:

  • The legendary Jeep® Grand Cherokee topped the Mid-Size SUV category for the third consecutive year. Over the past decade, the Grand Cherokee has led this category nine times
  • The Dodge Challenger modern muscle car, with its heritage-inspired styling, led the Sporty Car category for the third consecutive year
  • The stylish Chrysler Pacifica, a beacon of 35 years of minivan leadership, ranked atop the Minivan category.

Kia Motors America (KMA) celebrated a double AutoPacific win, as the 2019 Forte sedan and the 2019 Cadenza have been named segment winners in the 2019 Vehicle Satisfaction Awards (VSA). The Forte outranked some of the segment’s toughest rivals in the compact car segment, while the Cadenza beat out industry stalwarts in the large car category.

An all-new vehicle and a minor refresh are hits for Lincoln.  Last year Lincoln ranked 5th behind luxury brands Genesis, Lexus, Infiniti and Tesla. The all-new Navigator and updated and renamed Nautilus are top in their segments and the Navigator is the top overall vehicle. Adding to Lincoln’s wins in the SUV and Crossover SUV categories, the Lincoln Continental was the top car.  “In addition to the exceptionally crafted Navigator, Lincoln has made a strong push for customer treatment. It’s a hands-on experience that appears to be working,” says Peterson about Lincoln’s improved performance.
