Mazda said the 2027 Mazda3 offers greater value by extending features customers prefer, led by wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity and wireless phone charging. The sedan and hatchback keep the Kodo design language, and the company describes the lineup as its most versatile Mazda3 yet, citing wireless smartphone integration, Bose premium audio, advanced driver-assistance technologies and expanded all-wheel-drive availability.
Standard exterior colors are Jet Black Mica, Premium Quartz Metallic and Deep Crystal Blue Mica. Snowflake White Pearl Mica, Machine Gray Metallic, Soul Red Crystal Metallic, Polymetal Gray Metallic and Ceramic Metallic are available at $595 each.
Across the range, Mazda offers Skyactiv-G powertrains and a suite of standard i-Activsense safety technologies, and it continues to offer a six-speed manual transmission on the Mazda3 2.5 S Hatchback for drivers who prefer to shift themselves. Mazda3 2.5 S and 2.5 S Select Sport Set the Entry Point
The sedan-only Mazda3 2.5 S opens the range at $24,750. Every 2.5 S model uses a naturally aspirated Skyactiv-G 2.5-liter engine rated at 186 horsepower and 186 pound-feet of torque on 87 octane fuel, paired with a six-speed automatic transmission and front-wheel drive. G-Vectoring Control Plus, Dynamic Stability Control, Traction Control, Hill Launch Assist and Off-Road Traction Assist are included.
Standard equipment includes 16-inch alloy wheels, LED headlights and tail lights, cloth seats, push-button start and an eight-speaker audio system with Mazda Harmonic Acoustics. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration and Mazda Connected Services capability are also standard. This trim also brings wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto with Alexa Built-In.
Mazda3 2.5 S Preferred Offers an All-Wheel-Drive Hatchback Under $30,000
The 2.5 S Preferred adds a power sliding-glass moonroof, an eight-way power driver’s seat with memory, side mirrors that tilt in reverse, heated front seats and a Qi wireless phone charger. It starts at $27,490 as a sedan and $28,040 as a front-wheel-drive hatchback.
The Preferred Hatchback is also offered with Mazda’s predictive i-Activ AWD system at $29,990, the price point Mazda highlights as bringing all-weather capability in under $30,000.
Mazda3 2.5 S Premium and Premium Plus Add Leather, Bose Audio and a Manual Option
The sedan-only 2.5 S Premium, at $30,415, adds black or red leather, a 12-speaker Bose Premium Audio system with HD radio and standard i-Activ AWD. Traffic Sign Recognition joins the safety equipment.
Newly positioned in the lineup, the 2.5 S Premium Plus Hatchback pairs a high level of equipment with the six-speed Skyactiv-MT manual transmission and front-wheel drive, priced at $31,950. An all-wheel-drive version is listed at $33,350. Front and rear LED signature illumination distinguishes the exterior. Inside are a larger 10.25-inch center display with touchscreen functionality for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a heated steering wheel, an active driving display projected on the windshield, and an adaptive front lighting system that swivels through curves.
Mazda3 2.5 Turbo Premium Plus Tops the Range
The Mazda3 2.5 Turbo Premium Plus is powered by Mazda’s turbocharged Skyactiv-G 2.5-liter engine, which produces up to 250 horsepower and 320 pound-feet of torque on 93 octane fuel, or 227 horsepower and 310 pound-feet on 87 octane. It is paired exclusively with i-Activ AWD and paddle shifters, and is priced at $37,040 as a sedan and $38,190 as a hatchback.
Exterior changes signal the performance focus. The sedan receives a black rear spoiler, while the hatchback gets a more prominent front air dam, front air guides and a turbo-specific black rear hatch spoiler. AWD and Turbo badging and larger tail pipes complete the look. Inside, the trim adds Homelink and SiriusXM with a three-month trial, along with a frameless auto-dimming rearview mirror. Sedan buyers can choose white or black leather, and hatchback buyers black or red.
