RedRoute Picks HERE for Location APIs

Posted on November 25, 2019 by Bryan Jonston

HERE Technologies, a global leader in location platform services, today announced that RedRoute, a voice AI industry leader providing a SaaS solution for customer service automation, chose HERE Location Services APIs over Google for its routing & dispatching capabilities. Specifically, HERE Location Services will help RedRoute deliver advanced automatic agent solutions for its customers to effectively dispatch cars and emergency vehicles.

RedRoute is building ‘Alexa for customer service’ solutions to help organizations in all industries to improve the call center experience. The customer service solution provides a better experience for callers, is easier to manage, and is less expensive than traditional call centers.

For transportation companies, RedRoute can now automate customer service phone calls and provide more effective and precise routing and navigation information for drives. The automated voice bot provides a more cost effective and easier way to operationalize this process and saves money. The solution replaces the legacy IVR with a product that takes just days to implement and requires zero technical understanding. RedRoute clients typically achieve 70% automation of their call center, far more than the the 5-10% automation achieved by legacy systems. Critical to all of this is fresh, accurate, and reliable location intelligence offered by HERE.

“We’re excited to partner with RedRoute to power their innovative voice bot solution,” said Mike Buckley, Head of Transportation & Logistics at HERE Technologies. “Their solution brings tremendous value to customers who want to automate costly processes. HERE remains committed to providing flexibility in accessing the highest quality, location-centric technologies and we’re happy to work with RedRoute to bring this solution to market.”

“After conducting extensive due diligence on location services platform companies, we are pleased to be moving forward with HERE Technologies,” said Jacob Cooper, CTO of RedRoute. “What most impressed us about the HERE Open Location Platform was how quickly and easily we can connect our solutions to HERE’s deep set of location data. With HERE, we flawlessly fulfill the needs of our growing list of clients who require the most up-to-date location information.”
