NJ ZIP Incentives for GreenPower
GreenPower Motor Company announced that its full Class 4 EV Star lineup—including the Passenger Van, Mobility Plus, ReeferX, Cab & Chassis, Stakebed, and Utility Truck—is now eligible for major incentives under New Jersey’s newly reopened Zero-Emission Incentive Program (NJ ZIP). Base vouchers start at $65,000 per vehicle and can exceed $90,000 with stackable bonuses.
The NJ ZIP program relaunched November 24, 2025, with $75 million in funding, split into two $37.5 million rounds. GreenPower vehicles qualify on a first-come, first-served basis.
New Jersey also launched the NJ ZEV Financing Program, offering low-interest loans of $50,000 to $500,000 for up to 100% of eligible zero-emission vehicle costs. This financing can be combined with NJ ZIP vouchers or used independently.
GreenPower executives highlighted the company’s ready-to-deliver lineup of passenger, mobility, cargo, refrigerated, and utility configurations, while Wolfington Body Company expressed support for expanding zero-emission fleets across the state.
Pure Lithium Saudi Patent for Brine-to-Battery Technology
Pure Lithium Corporation has received a foundational patent from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for its “Vertically Integrated Pure Lithium Metal Production and Lithium Battery Production” technology. The patent covers the company’s end-to-end Brine to Battery™ process, which unifies lithium extraction, anode production, and battery manufacturing.
CEO Emilie Bodoin noted that Saudi Arabia’s lithium-rich brines and abundant vanadium make it an ideal location for the company’s next-generation battery ecosystem. The company now holds more than 128 patents and applications globally, along with multiple trademarks.
Saudi Arabia’s Energy Capital Group, an investor since 2023, says the technology could give the country a competitive foothold in battery manufacturing with exceptional supply-chain security. Pure Lithium’s metal battery design uses no graphite, nickel, cobalt, or manganese—materials that dominate the current lithium-ion supply chain—while offering lighter, more powerful, and lower-cost performance.
ChargePoint & Dabaja Brothers: Ultra-Fast EV Charging Site in Detroit
ChargePoint has opened a new ultra-fast EV charging site in Canton, Michigan, in partnership with the Dabaja Brothers Development Group. This marks the first of several Dabaja-owned properties that will be equipped with ChargePoint Express Plus fast chargers, with additional sites planned in Dearborn and Livonia.
The rollout aims to fill “fast charging deserts” across metro Detroit by deploying more than 40 fast-charging ports. All stations will run on the new ChargePoint Platform, offering real-time monitoring, flexible pricing, and performance management.
Dabaja Brothers says the project addresses a significant lack of EV charging options in the region. ChargePoint’s Express Plus system supports every EV model, can charge two vehicles simultaneously, and uses advanced cooling to maintain peak charging speeds for quicker, uninterrupted sessions.
Suncoast Charging 1st Fast-Charging Station
Suncoast Charging Corporation has officially opened its first public DC fast-charging station in Land O’ Lakes, Florida, marking the start of its broader EV charging network rollout planned for 2026 and beyond. The station supports up to eight vehicles simultaneously and features 325 kW Tesla V4 Canvas Superchargers, accessible to all EV models with flexible payment options and 24/7 availability.
The company also announced its two Founders: electric mobility veteran David Patrick, who brings extensive leadership in EV infrastructure deployment, and Wesley Sima, whose background in finance and clean energy business development supports Suncoast’s growth strategy.
Suncoast is partnering with Center Connect Development to build its first two premium charging locations: the Hub at Bexley (now open) and the Hub at Lexington Oaks, expected in Q1 2026. These sites were selected for their destination-style amenities, including dining, retail, live music, and community events, serving both local residents and travelers.
Looking ahead, Suncoast plans to open approximately 20 new stations in 2026 as part of a reliable, customer-focused regional network.
The company is also launching a Community & Environmental Partnership Initiative, collaborating with local businesses and environmental groups to feature wildlife-themed charger designs and promote regional habitat preservation.
Finally, the new Bexley station is the first in North America to operate under Tesla’s new Supercharger for Business program, underscoring Suncoast Charging’s commitment to innovation in EV infrastructure.
