@LAAutoShow @AutoMobility Showcases the Future of EVs, AI, AVs & eVTOLs

AutoMobility LA the future is in motion in 2025.

AutoMobility LA on Thursday, November 20, 2025, returns to the Los Angeles Convention Center with a Main Stage lineup presented by Cox Automotive, promising a full day of conversations about electrification, artificial intelligence, autonomy, aerospace, and even boating.

Organizers say this year’s AutoMobility LA is designed to showcase not just the next generation of vehicles but also the technologies and business strategies shaping transportation in the decade ahead. Terri Toennies, president of the Los Angeles Auto Show, said the event “brings together the voices that are shaping what comes next for transportation,” adding that panelists span from established automakers to start-ups and innovators working on everything from luxury EVs to flying taxis.

The program will open with a session tying Southern California’s automotive culture to one of the region’s highest-profile events. Titled “Powering Dreams — Honda and the LA28 Games Unite for the 2028 Olympic and Paralympic Games,” the discussion will spotlight Honda’s partnership with the Los Angeles 2028 Games. Honda executives say the collaboration reflects the company’s long history in the region and its commitment to marrying mobility innovation with community pride. “Our partnership with LA28 and Team USA is about supporting the home team; honoring the community Honda has called home for over 65 years,” said Jennifer Symington, assistant vice president of marketing for American Honda.

From there, the Main Stage will shift into a daylong series of panels and keynotes hosted by Juliette Ferrara, head of industry, automotive, at SiriusXM Media. CarBuzz will broadcast the sessions worldwide. Among the confirmed highlights:

Lucid Motors: Interim CEO Marc Winterhoff will discuss the company’s strategy for maintaining its place at the top end of the luxury EV market. Lucid’s blend of performance and design has won praise, and the company is positioning itself for further growth in an increasingly crowded field.

Artificial Intelligence in Automotive: Marianne Johnson, Cox Automotive’s chief product officer, and David Foutz, vice president of enterprise client management, will explore how AI is being used today — not just in vehicles, but in operations, retail, and customer service.

Electrification in Aerospace: Ken Karklin, CEO of Pivotal.aero, will describe how electric vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL) aircraft are moving from prototypes into commercial reality. “Electric flying vehicles are no longer science fiction; they are here,” Karklin said.

Reinventing Boating: ARC Boats CEO Mitch Lee will explain how marine electrification is drawing on expertise from aerospace and automotive engineering to create faster, quieter, and more sustainable vessels.

Autonomous Vehicles: A panel presented by PAVE will gather executives including Stephen Hayes, vice president of autonomous at Lyft, to examine progress on self-driving technology, new regulatory frameworks, and consumer trust.

The role of Cox Automotive as presenting sponsor ensures AI remains a central theme. Company executives say the industry is at a crossroads: those who adapt quickly to AI tools will thrive, while others may be left behind.

Beyond the formal sessions, AutoMobility LA will include awards, networking events, and a Cars & Coffee morning with SEMA executives, providing attendees additional opportunities to connect in a more casual setting.

Registration is already open. Admission is complimentary for accredited journalists. Industry professionals can register for $149 through October 15, with standard pricing of $249 beginning October 16. All attendees must pre-register online at automobilityla.com.

For organizers, the event represents more than a single day of panels; it is an opportunity for Los Angeles to position itself once again at the center of the conversation about where cars, planes, boats — and mobility itself — are headed next.
