Maxell’s All-Solid-State Batteries in Subaru’s Industrial Robots
Maxell Ltd. has begun test operations of its ceramic-packaged all-solid-state battery modules, the PSB401010H, at Subaru’s Oizumi Plant in Gunma, Japan. Installed in industrial robots and controllers, the rechargeable modules are designed to replace single-use backup batteries, which typically require replacement every one to two years. With an expected lifespan exceeding 10 years and high safety performance, the new batteries aim to reduce both maintenance labor and industrial waste. Maxell plans to expand applications of its solid-state modules beyond Subaru, promoting their use across the manufacturing sector for greater sustainability and efficiency.
Lucid 1-for-10 Reverse Stock Split
Lucid Group, Inc. (NASDAQ: LCID) will implement a 1-for-10 reverse stock split of its common stock, reducing outstanding shares from approximately 3.07 billion to 307 million and cutting authorized shares from 15 billion to 1.5 billion. Approved by shareholders on August 18, the move takes effect August 29, with split-adjusted trading beginning September 2 under the same ticker. Fractional shares will be settled in cash, and no action is required from shareholders.
