Sentra DET Concept
Nissan’s popular Sentra compact sedan gets a serious injection of speed with the Sentra DET Concept¹. Inspired by the cars used in the Sentra Cup spec-racing series in Canada, which adds a U.S. round in 2024, the dynamic concept pays homage to Nissan’s past, beloved SE-R models and NISMO heritage. Showcasing exciting performance upgrades for today’s Sentra enthusiasts, it captures the spirit of Nissan’s performance legacy, offering an exciting blend of style and dynamic enhancements.

Even before reviewing the build sheet, Nissan fans will have a hint as to the concept car’s powertrain thanks to its DET name – referencing some of the most popular Nissan performance engines of years past. Translating to “Dual overhead cam, Electronic Fuel Injection, Turbo,” the acronym has adorned the engines of thrilling Nissans like the Silvia / 180SX, Pulsar GTI-R, Skyline and Stagea.

Fittingly, the heart of the Sentra DET concept is a performance-built turbocharged MR20DD 2.0-liter engine mated to a 6-speed manual transmission and a prototype stainless-steel NISMO B18 performance exhaust that adds a deep engine tone.

Complementing the increased power, the concept rides on a prototype NISMO coilover suspension featuring twin-tube shocks and linear-rate springs, fine-tuned with the input of GT4 professional racer Bryan Heitkotter.

The concept also includes new 18-inch NISMO LM-RS6 wheels with various finish options, wrapped in high-performance Yokohama ADVAN Neova^® AD09 tires. Inside are Recaro Sportster CS front seats and a NISMO GT shift knob.

Forsberg Frontier Off-Road Race Truck
With the Frontier Off-Road Race Truck¹, Nissan once again collaborated with Forsberg Racing and multi-time Formula Drift champ Chris Forsberg. The Forsberg Racing team developed this truck, outfitted with NISMO Off Road parts, for the rigors of the NORRA 500 off-road race. Chris Forsberg and Yokohama teammate, Leticia Bufoni, entered this year’s race in the stock production class and took home the first-place win in the category. Their success is a testament to the durability of Frontier, and the targeted upgrades provided by NISMO Off Road products.

“Racing the Forsberg Frontier Off-Road Race Truck at the NORRA 500 was an exhilarating experience,” said Forsberg. “Nissan and the Forsberg Racing team have created a true beast of a machine.”

Z NISMO and GT-R NISMO Production Models
Highlighting a commitment to adrenaline-pumping cars, Nissan’s SEMA booth will feature the recently launched 2024 Nissan Z NISMO and the 2024 GT-R NISMO.

With track-ready performance, Z NISMO elevates the iconic sports car with 420 horsepower, NISMO-tuned suspension, NISMO-enhanced brakes and numerous enhancements that improve its dynamic, responsive character.

GT-R NISMO features a hand-crafted, twin-turbocharged 3.8-liter V6 engine rated for 600 horsepower², plus enhanced suspension, brakes and aerodynamic components.

GT-R changes for 2024 include updates specific to GT-R NISMO. They include revised NISMO-unique bodywork that enhances downforce, the return of the NISMO Appearance Package and addition of a front limited-slip differential for the first time ever.

SIERRA Cars ECHO Performance Line

SIERRA Cars, a trailblazing force in ultra-performance vehicles, will unveil their latest racing technology at SEMA Show 2023 with the launch of its latest innovation—the all-electric ECHO performance-vehicle line.

SIERRA Cars will make its first-ever appearance at SEMA Show this year, showcasing its new electric car line, powered by Hypercraft. Unlike previous SIERRA Cars models, which were limited production, the SIERRA ECHO line is primed for consumer availability in three distinct configurations: the ECHO (base model), the ECHO R-Spec, and the ECHO Block Edition. Socket Compatibility: The versatile J+ BOOSTER 2 charging station enables EVs to charge from any conventional household or industrial socket-outlet throughout North America.
Power Input: The power input options cover all supply current variants, either 120 V or 240 V, and from 6 to 40 amps.
NEMA Compliant: This charging device offers six available adapters compliant with the National Electrical Manufacturers Association (NEMA) standards (NEMA 5-15, NEMA 5-20, NEMA TT-30, NEMA 6-50, NEMA 14-50 and NEMA 6-15), and all are equipped for automatic detection of socket input current. The NEMA 5-15, NEMA 6-15, and NEMA 5-20 adapter plugs are also fitted with the J+ CELSIUS temperature monitoring system.
Ruggedized Durability: The in-cable control box is waterproof and dustproof (to protection rating IP 67), can be used within an ambient temperature range of -22°F to 122°F (-30°C to 50°C), and is driveover-resistant to wheel loads of up to 6,600 lbs. (3 metric tons).
Safety: The J+ CELSIUS temperature sensor installed directly at the plug pins protects socket-outlets against overheating. The residual current device integrated into the J+ BOOSTER 2 for fault current protection eliminates the need to install any expensive DC residual current device in the home – saving users considerable extra expense.
Certified according to UL standards: All electrical devices in the United States and Canada must be safety-certified in accordance with specified national requirements. One authorized testing and certification company is ETL Intertek (Germany). They test products, components, materials and systems according to UL standards to determine whether they meet specific standards. J+ BOOSTER 2 has been certified according to UL standards and bears the certification mark UL2594 for electric vehicle supply equipment (EVSE) as well as UL2231-1 and -2 for personnel protection for EVSE in full compliance with the two international standards IEC 62196 and IEC 61851-1 and the Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS) Directive.
