Autonomous & connected cars come to CES International

250px-DieterZetscheIAA2009It seems like everyone wants to get into the connected car autonomous vehicle act.  The Consumer Electronics Association announced today that Dr. Dieter Zetsche from Daimler AG and Head of Mercedes-Benz Cars will give a CES keynote about autonomous vehicle technology because cars are the ultimate mobile devices.  The keynote will also debut a new concept car on January 5.

Owned and produced by CEA, the 2015 CES, the global gathering place for all who thrive on the business of consumer technologies, will run January 6-9, 2015 in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The speech will cover autonomous cars impact on society, mobility and environment. Dr. Zetsche will also discuss the future of autonomous vehicles.

New vehicle sales in 2014  will account for  factory-installed systems to reach $11 billion in revenue, an 20 percent more than last year.
